Meet the Garage 42 Team

David Bamforth founded Garage 42 due to an inability to find a car storage company for his own personal needs. In 2019, David opened the first Garage 42 location in Woburn, MA, sharing a building with his manufacturing company Rennscot MFG. Over the last decade he has owned several sports cars and supercars, giving him a personal understanding to the needs of our clients. On the weekends you can find David at local cars and coffees with his Porsche 718 Spyder or at the track with his Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport, both of which are managed by Garage 42.

Sean brings over 25 years of experience in racing and restoration to the G42 team. He was the head mechanic running GT class sports cars at the 24 hours of Daytona. He then embarked on a career restoring the finest European sports cars at one of the world's most renowned restoration workshops. Through the years he has been responsible for restoring Pebble Beach winning cars, as well as acquiring collector cars of the same pedigree. From Ferrari 250 series cars to F40s, and Porsche Carrera GTs he has managed to provide insight and guidance to countless clients.​

Edwin knows cars. 

Edwin loves Porsches.

He has track prepped more cars than he can count, and each one flawlessly. Spending his time learning and perfecting his craft, he was brought on board specifically for his meticulous attention to detail. Edwin will likely be the one you encounter when picking up or dropping off your car for storage, and you can be sure whatever items you had requested, they are signed off by him. More than just a Porschephile his depth of knowledge and passion for cars of all types is infectious.
