1989 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe
Chassis # WP0AB0919KS120249
Overview
No question about it; there are few driving experiences as pure as a base air cooled 911. Add in the legendary G50 gearbox, and you have what may be the best all-around car built in the 30 years spanning 1970-2000.
This wonderful client called us looking for his first classic/ collector car. Like many, the pull of the Porsche lore proved too much...one drive and he had to have this example.
Like all of the cars we source, this example is about as good and special as it can be. It was sourced in Texas, and came with mountains of service history documenting it's 2 owner history. Garage 42 traveled to TX. to inspect the car and found it to be in exemplary mechanical condition. Leak down and compression was tested, along with inspecting the headstuds for failure. The engine had recently been re-sealed by a well-regarded marque expert, and it shows absolutely zero evidence of oil leaks.
This is simply an amazing car for those flowing New England roads, and our client has already racked up thousands of miles through the Green and White Mountains.
